Dear WTSDA members.
HELLAS WTSDA is proud to be hosting this year two very important events for our region. Starting on Saturday 8th November 2008 with the 2nd European Ki Gong clinic and continuing with the 8th European Masters and Leadership clinic from Tuesday 11th November 2008 to Friday 14th November 2008.
Open to all WTSDA members is the Greek national championship taking place, after the Ki Gong and Masters clinics, on Saturday 15th November 2008 in Glyfada in the outskirts of Athens.
The Ki Gong clinic and Masters & Leadership clinic will be taking place in Loutraki Greece (www.loutraki.gr ), an area full of ancient history, in Sport Camp (www.sportcamp.gr ). A sports complex with every possible facility for such an event. Accommodation, catering, sports halls, swimming pool, gym are only some of the offered facilities.
A very comprehensive transport system will take you from any part of Athens or the Athens International Airport straight to Loutraki where you will be greeted and transferred to the sports camp.
On Friday 14th November 2008 a coach will be available for any members wanting to travel to Glyfada for the National Championship to the Championship Headquarters hotel (www.fenix.gr ). To be able to travel on this coach you need to fill in the appropriate section in the Masters Clinic application form or the Ki Gong application form.
TRANSPORT DETAILS
The best way to arrive in Loutraki is by using the suburban railway. (www.ose.gr ) Click on ENGLISH then click Airport Neratziotissa Kiato then under related files click Airport Neratziotissa Kiato this is the time table for the trains running from the Airport to KORINTOS the station you need to disembark at.
A one and a half hour journey will take you from Athens International Airport to Loutraki with two train changes at NERANTZIOTISSA station and ANO LIOSIA station.
The price for this is around 8 euros, but can be even less if you buy group tickets.
To travel using this transport means you will have to exit the main airport building and follow signs for the suburban railway station located just outside the arrivals hall and up one level.
Purchase a ticket from AIRPORT to KORINTHOS station.
For better connecting trains try and leave the airport at 39 minutes past the hour.This way you have only 5’ to 10’ waiting time at the changing stations. Otrherwise the waiting time could be much more.
Your changes are at NERANTZIOTISSA station and ANO LIOSIA station
Travel from the AIRPORT to NERANTZIOTISSA station (on the train AIRPORT-NERANTZIOTISSA is printed) and there change train to ANO LIOSIA station (on the train the route NERANTZIOTISSA –ANO LIOSIA is printed) then change train to KORINTHOS station (on the train the route PIRAEUS- KIATO is printed) where you will be greeted by a member of the HELLAS WTSDA to take you to the sports camp. Please don’t forget to fill in your flight arrival details in your application form.

KI GONG CLINIC - EUROPEAN MASTERS CLINIC &
GREEK OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
Hellas W.T.S.D.A. is honored to be hosting this year the Ki Gong clinic, the European Masters and leadership clinic and the Greek Open Championships.
These events start on Saturday 8th November 2008 with the Ki Gong clinic. This will take place between the 8th November and 10th November .
On The 11th November 2008 the European Masters and Leadership clinic will start ending on Friday 14th November 2008.
Finally on Saturday 15th November 2008 the Greek National Open championship will take place closing these events.

MASTER KHAN VISIT TO GREECE
30 MAY TO JUNE 1, 2008
Over the weekend from Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June all members of the HELLAS WTSDA kids and adults, gup and dan had the unique opportunity to train with Master Khan 6th dan, our European director.
He openheartedly showed us the special attributes of a great teacher and instructor of martial arts, giving everyone some very special experiences during the three training sessions over the three days.
THE SECOND GREECE SAMOS SUMMER CAMP 26th AND 27th OF MAY2007.
During the 26th and 27th May 2007 at Mikaly of Samos Island in Greece, the 2nd Greece Samos Summer Camp took place with many members of W.T.S.D.A.
There were sixty participants seventeen of them came from England and Sweden.
The Masters who taught were:
Master Khan 6th Dan who is European Director.
His thirty years of experience in Tang Soo Do is a guarantee. He always follows the tenets, the codes and the etiquette of our Federation. He is always available to help and lead everyone who asks him. Both his technical and leadership knowledge give to European T.S.D. solid foundations for the future.
Master Green 5th Dan. He is one of the oldest and most experienced instructors of this Martial Art. His individuality is characterized by integrity, ethos, friendliness and love. The students who are taught by him wish the training would never end.
Master Carter 5th Dan who has many years of practice in T.S.D. With patience and perseverance gives his students the knowledge they need to improve their technique and improve their self-confidence.
Master Dawn Khan 4th Dan.. She offers valuable services to W.T.S.D.A. such as technical training and her impressive organizational skills for all events.
Also, there were all instructors of Greek Tang Soo Do with chief instructor Mr. Saridakis who welcomed everyone to the Camp. After that, all Masters said a few words about it and presented three Greek instructors with their 4th Dan (exam 2006).
Most events took place at the hotel tennis court but also at the beach of Psili Ammos 1,5 kilometers away were all participants trained in kicking and hand techniques, training in the sea and Ki Kong exercises.
Also on the last evening the Greek Night took place with a great success.
1st SUMMER CAMP SAMOS GREECE
The 1st Hellas W.T.S.D.A. summer camp was held on the beautiful island of Samos in Greece on the weekend of the 17th and 18th of June 2006.
Its great success was undoubtedly a combination of the hard work of all concerned from Mr Saridakis the head of Hellas W.T.S.D.A. and Mr K.Galiotis Samos regional instructor, the very interesting training offered over these 2 days, but also the great help of Master M.Khan European director and Master K.Kaczowski from Germany.
All instructors and students showed great enthusiasm throughout the 2 day training session which included a morning jog, breathing exercises on the beach while the sun rose over the horizon and hand & kicking techniques in the sea followed by free sparring in knee deep water!!
Everyone present although tired and full of new knowledge couldn’t stop asking when the next summer camp would take place!
